H omes For You was established in 1986, by Bertwin Nakamura, Designated Realtor and Principal Broker.

Bertwin Nakamura has a Bachelors of Arts Degree from the University of Hawaii and studied various disciplines from the sciences to the arts. In addition to Homes For You, he was a licensed Mortgage Broker for four years, with a full working knowledge of loans from solicitation, origination, processing, closing, funding and selling. He has also completed courses on appraisal adequate for Hawaii State Licensing purposes and was a Notary Public. He has served as a director on several condominium Association Boards and has worked with numerous real estate attorneys, escrow companies, management firms, etc., over the years.

Bertwin Nakamura was a consultant for Saint Francis Medical Center for 17 years, where he established an employee housing program in which Homes For You handled over 2000 nurses. We are the only company in the State to have accomplished this feat, as all the other major Hospitals tried with in-house employees and/or large outside real estate companies, but failed.

Homes For You has clients in Hong Kong, Australia, Japan, Taiwan, Canada, the continental United States and, of course, Hawaii. Our firm handles the entire spectrum of real estate, but we specialize in residential sales and property management.
